  • The outer kingdom is not our real home. The inner kingdom is our everything.

Marianne Williamson (2009). “The Age of Miracles: Embracing the New Midlife: Easyread Super Large 20pt Edition”, p.38, ReadHowYouWant.com
  • The field of quantum possibility, in which love has opened doors otherwise unimaginable, is our soul's true habitat. The world of fear and limitation is not our home, and who among us is not profoundly weary of hanging out where we do not belong.

FaceBook post by Marianne Williamson from Jun 06, 2013
  • Yes, women are homemakers - and the entire earth is our home. Yes, we are here to take care of the children - and every child in the world is one of our own.

"SISTER GIANT: Consciousness and Politics" by Marianne Williamson, www.huffingtonpost.com. September 6, 2012.
  • When love isn't in our lives, it's on the way. If you know that a special guest is coming at five o'clock, do you spend the day messing up the home? Of course not. You prepare. And that is what we should do for love.

Marianne Williamson (2013). “Enchanted Love: The Mystical Power Of Intimate Relationships”, p.154, Simon and Schuster
  • We have great power to affect the attitudes and behavior of the people around us, at work and at home. We have the power to set a tone of honor, to create an energy around ourselves that says, 'I respect myself. I respect you. Let's respect each other.'

  • Today, the reason we haven't found our grail, the key to who we are as women, is because we look for it in worlds of false power, the very worlds that took it away from us in the first place. Neither men nor work can restore our lost scepter. Nothing in this world can take us home. Only the radar in our hearts can do that, and when it does, ... 'We will light up like lamps, and the world will never be the same again.'

  • I was very much a child of the 1960s. I protested the Vietnam War and grew up in a fairly politicized home. My father was like a cross between William Kunstler and Zorba the Greek. I grew up among left-wing lawyers.

  • 17,000 children starve on this planet every single day. That fact alone should blow any conscious person out of their chair. You know, my mother used to say that a woman’s most important job is taking care of her children and her home. I laughed at that when I was younger, but I don’t laugh at it anymore. I just realize now that every child on the planet is one of our children, and the earth itself is our home.

"Marianne Williamson on Consciousness, Women and Politics". Interview with Marianne Schnall, www.huffingtonpost.com. November 9, 2012.
  • May my heart be your shelter, and my arms be your home.

Marianne Williamson (2013). “Illuminata: Thoughts, Prayers, Rites of Passage”, p.267, Random House
  • For every person who might reject you if you live your truth, there are ten others who will embrace you and welcome you home.

FaceBook post by Marianne Williamson from Aug 01, 2010
  • We're all assigned a piece of the garden, a corner of the universe that is ours to transform. Our corner of the universe is our own life - our relationships, our homes, our work, our current circumstances -. exactly as they are. Every situation we find ourselves in is an opportunity, perfectly planned by the Holy Spirit, to teach love instead of fear.

Marianne Williamson (1992). “A return to love: reflections on the principles of "A course in miracles"”
  • When it comes to politics, we have an internal glass ceiling. We stand as good a chance as a man to win a political race, but women don't want to run at the same rate as men do. People point to the work-family balance issue, but I think it's much more than that. Many women don't have children, or have children who are no longer at home. There are some deeper psychological and emotional issues in play, like the fact that many of us feel like the embarrassment, humiliation and personal demonization in politics are simply more than our hearts can take. What stops us is fear.

  • Make a room for love and it always comes. Make a nest for love and it always settles. Make a home for the beloved and the beloved with always find their way there
